Adam Ray Dyer is an internationally recognized performer, director, choreographer and creator. He recently directed HiRO, the aqua based multi-disciplinary hit for Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas, the largest and most technologically advanced cruise ship in the world.
Dyer has been fortunate to create and perform in many areas of the entertainment industry including Broadway, film, Walt Disney Entertainment, Lincoln Center concert dance, aqua-based cirque spectaculars, live music concerts, cruise-lines, virtual reality, digital performance and more.
His career began in the Broadway National Tour of Contact, the Tony Award Winning musical by Susan Stroman. After contributing to three different projects for Walt Disney Entertainment, Adam began working as an acrobat and aerialist in Franco Dragone's water-based spectacular LE REVE at Wynn Las Vegas. He appeared in Crystal Pite's epic work, POLARIS at Lincoln Center's "White Light Festival". Adam starred as lead aerialist in Broadway's, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and also featured as an acrobatic dancer in The House of Dancing Water, Franco Dragone's landmark aqua show in Macau, China.
Dyer served on Faculty at Broadway Dance Center in New York City where he proposed and created a unique dance class titled Interactive Performance/Contemporary Duets. As a result Adam was invited to direct and choreograph Spider-Man's contribution to the Broadway community's annual "Gypsy of the Year" competition.
Adam directed/choreographed a 360° VR collaboration between GoPro and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He created, directed and choreographed INFUSEART.COM a real-time audience interactive installation that showcased performers and audience members working together through technology to determine the climax and outcome of the evening's performance.
Dyer holds a BFA from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater/Fordham University and an MFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts specializing in Directing, Choreography and New Media. View career highlights @ adamraydyer.com
