Myles Thoroughgood has been creating movement and choreography for television, stage, and a wide variety of venues since his debut with The Disney Channel's MICKEY MOUSE CLUB. His ability to cultivate and nurture young talent has reverberated well beyond the small screen, as indicated by the success of MMC cast members, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Keri Russel, and Ryan Gosling. After five seasons with The Disney Channel and more than 300 production numbers and videos, Thoroughgood's experience with young performers continued to extend to top-rated shows on Nickelodeon and TLC/Discovery Network.
On stage, Thoroughgood has added his inventive style to many musicals, including CABARET, CHICAGO, DROWSY CHAPERONE, A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD, YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN, HONK, SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK, JUST SO, and numerous others.
His work has been featured and enjoyed in major theme parks such as Disney World, Universal Studios, Great America, King's Dominion, King's Island, Carowinds, Canada's Wonderland, and Lotte World South Korea.
Corporations have utilized Myles' skills to give their shows the energy, focus, and entertainment value they deserve, including McDonald's, Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede (4 venues), and National Association of Home Builders, one of the world's largest conventions.
Myles has worked with a broad spectrum of people. Whether they are the most seasoned celebrity or a novice performer, he excels and succeeds by bringing a professionalism and spirit of collaboration to every project.
Seeking challenges is Myles Thoroughgood's passion ... "breaking boundaries and developing new ideas with regard to movement is the beauty and power of dance."
