Robert La Fosse

Robert La Fosse is a New York City based director, choreographer and dance actor who has enjoyed a lustrous career on both the Ballet and Broadway stages. He was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in Jerome Robbins Broadway and has danced with both American Ballet Theatre and New York City Ballet as a Principal dancer. He has choreographed over one hundred works for Opera, Ballet, Broadway, Film, and Television. His work has been seen at the Metropolitan Opera, New York City Ballet, off-Broadway as well as regional theaters across the country and internationally. As a performer he has had the unique opportunity to work with the master choreographers Jerome Robbins, Bob Fosse, Twyla Tharp, Agnes de Mille, Paul Taylor, Merce Cunningham, Susan Stroman and Sir Kenneth MacMillian. He teaches master classes and stages the dances of Jerome Robbins throughout the world.
